‘Older Cats 2’ celebrates the wonder of older cats, encouraging us all not to neglect them in favour of kittens. The track is punky and squelchy and finds Spearmint at their energetic and catchy best. 

The track features lead vocals from both Shirley and Simon, who sings the middle section from a cat’s point-of-view!

‘Let It Go’ is exclusive to this 7-inch, is one of the band’s favourites and so very nearly made it onto the new album. It’s a plea from a male perspective to ditch the patriarchy and try another way. It’s an ear-worm of an anthem that fits perfectly with the band’s recent work.
